This expandable table is a great idea, using this table, you don’t need tables with different sizes to fit your guests number. Round tables that can be expanded into larger oval tables we have ever seen before, but this table is different from them. French designer Phillipe Braun has created this innovative design that allows for the table to keep its circular shape to seat up to 16 dinner guests when extended. The Braun Woodline’s expanding table is available in styles ranging from classic to custom to professional, and you can get more informations from their website. [via Joshspear]

Designers from Swedish, Smånsk, showed a prototype of their Skew bookcase at the Stockholm Furniture Fair last month. As you can see the design is quite interesting and whimsical. Looking like magnified Legos, these identical modular components alternately stack up into a skew bookcase. At this skew bookcase it is easy to enlarge the height of the bookcase from new modular components as more space. The bad thing is that it is only a prototype right now, but it will be available soon because Smånsk are looking for an appropriate manufacturer to produce the product. [via 2modern]

This hanging stair is a really cool and interesting design by architects Blencowe Levine Associates. The design will bring a new concept to your house and it would be a great way to resolve the problem in renovations and additions about stair. It looks pretty modern and is a good use of space also, but I would question the strength of it over time if it were built out of wood. [Via Treehugger]

This visually stunning glass coffee table is called Frog and is designed by Lievore Altherr, Molina. The design is finished in a combination of simple elegance and practicality, and I’m pretty sure that you’ll fall in love with this coffee table. Frog coffee table is made from a single sheet of glass and the particular curvature makes the table extremely strong. Frog makes a bold statement in different colours, and pictures we’ve showed are the milky white glass and the crystalline transparency of extra-light glass. [Via Trendir & Sovet]

As you can see from the picture this is not just a simple table, he also provides hidden storage space. This Low Table extends and changes its shape by doubling in size revealing generous storage for magazines, books, CD and DVD. Extension table is easy to move thanks to its wheels. What impresses me most about this table is that Clean lines, functionality and diverse wood and lacquer finishes combinations between wengé stained oak and white lacquer. The price of this wonderfully designed table is £1162.39 vat included.
