Light In The Dark

Spanish illumination manufacturer Simon has come up with an interesting solution for those occasions when there is an electrical fault or simply have to move with little light, as if at night we’re going to the bathroom or bedroom of our son. The first picture we’ve showed comes from Simon’s new product lighting assistant of which cap tilt is unique in the market. This new product is possible to redirect the light beam to the position that we consider most appropriate and is available in four colors: white, red, blue and green.

Datamancer’s Steampunk Laptop

What do you think about this Steampunk Laptop designed by Richard R. Nagy. I think that is a really elegant and innovative design and I was thrilled when I saw these pictures. At a first glance, this may look like a Victorian music box, but inside this intricately hand-crafted wooden case lives a Hewlett-Packard ZT1000 laptop that runs both Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux. I love this creation, especially the addition of a pen holder and a ball-point quill pen on the end of the wireless card.  [via Designersblock]

Fender Stratocaster Table

We know that Fender Standard Stratocaster is a well-known brand in the electric guitar world, and today I’ve decided to present a really cool piece of guitar shaped furniture called Fender Stratocaster Table. The Standard Stratocaster Table is made of durable wood composite and is custom stained and varnished with a slightly tinted finish to resemble the tone and colour of a vintage guitar. The six tuning peg caps are silk screened, as is the lettering. The three legs are originally designed and powder coated bright silver to match. Each table is also identified with a metal tag with a stamped serial number. The price for this awesome piece is £200 and you can get it from here.
