Stink Tree Coffee Table

Stink Tree Coffee Table is a really contemporary design by Dylan Gold. Made of solid MDF layers coated in automotive laquer and clear coat, its heavy but durable, and the laminate and ultimately the extruded graphic are all customizable. Stink tree can be produced in a range of colors, textures and styles, anyway can be your favorite. If you’re worrying about stuff falling through the cracks, then don’t use the table in a manner where things would get caught down there. You can also fit it with a piece of glass if you’re that worried.

Handcrafted Furniture Made From Auto Parts

A few weeks ago, I’ve presented the Jake’s car furniture, and today here are another pieces of furniture that are also specially meant for car enthusiastic people. The first design is a exquisite car part couch and coffee table set that is the one I love the most. Handcrafted exclusively by car-lover Steven Shaver, this design features an upholstered sofa bench made with wheel rims and a new 1960’s / 70’s Firebird trunk lid and spoiler accompanied by a glass top coffee table constructed out of a chrome wheel rim. If you are interested by these awesome car parts furniture, you can check out more images on Steven’s site.  [via Thedesignblog]

Amazing Splash Lounge Chair

The Splash Lounge Chair is something that will catch everyone’s attention. This design is so brilliant, beautiful and stylish. Designer Michael L. Wendel took idea from the water splashes and created this 1/8th scale model, big enough for us to sit in. Right now The Splash Lounge Chair is just a piece of conceptualized modern art, but I’m sure that this design has a lot of potential and is sure to be a hit for any home.  [via Yankodesign]

Sound-e-Motion speakers

I’m a big fan of the speaker designs. You might remember the Klipsch Rock Speaker Sandstone, and today here is another acoustic system called Sound-e-Motion M10-5 BF. The spherical speaker mounted on a stand rather than on a flat surface minimizes interference in both horizontal and vertical planes. Thus the sound radiates evenly in every direction. The sphere holding the speaker is hand made from high class natural wood, a material unique for its acoustic characteristics. Each sphere is made of hundreds of wood pieces and has excellent anti-resonance properties. Through its innovative technical solutions, this system is claimed to mimic concert hall acoustics like no other system. Well, I can say that these nice-look wooden loudspeakers will add grace to your contemporary living room.  [via Bornrich]

Crazy Grass Bed

The Grass Bed is just a bed concept right now, but I’ve decided to present this bed because the idea is quite crazy and might give you an inspiration. No matter what the weather is like outside, if it’s winter or raining madly, you can relax peacefully on your very own bed made out of grass. Invite your friends and I can sure that this cool grass bed can make them say “Wooow”.  [via cribfashion]

Oclock by Anthony Duffeleer

Oclock is designed by Anthony Duffeleer a architect. As you can see from this picture the Oclock has a very individual design, and I’m sure that its unique rotation casting shape will impress anyone. Oclock has generous dimensions, the dial is around 120 centimetres in diameter, however, the clock is light in weight. Finally, I can say that Oclock is an object that has an almost obtrusive presence in a room, but you might need to have enough space to place it in your home.

Wall Shelves - Thekla & Lloyd

Thekla & Lloyd are something really modern and stylish in the wall shelves business, and I really like the idea. Designed by Katharina Maria Bruckner, Herbert Klamminger and Hans Stefan Moritsch, these shelves are a fluctuation between architecture, built-in furniture and design. They invite one to lean on them as though on a plank sprung loose from the wall. You can’t store too much stuff on these shelves, Thekla & Lloyd only hold your favorite objects, keeping them subtly visible and within reach without intrusively dominating the space.
