“d:light” by Tim Edgeler

Designer Tim Edgeler has come up with a new soluton to the light-bulb problem with the nice look product: “d:light“. The “d:light” fulfills 3 main product functions by acting as light bulb packaging, a light-shade for when the bulb is in use, and the vehicle for return when the bulb has reached the end of its functional life. It’s made of green materials cardboard, and it not only acts as a practical product but also helps people aware consumers reduce their waste footprint.

The Grasshoper is a foldable electric bike that users can carry as a trolley when not in use. It comes with adjustable seat and handlebars, and is based on injection molded magnesium which makes the frame lightweight. It’ll help in countering traffic congestion on jam-packed streets and highways in an urban environment. Right now, the Grasshoper is only a concept bike, displayed at the International Bicycle Design Competition.
