Seifert Stoeckmann’s Project - the Living Room

living-room11.jpg

The Living Room project designed by Seifert Stoeckmann is located in the historic district of Gelnhause, Germany. After you’ll see the pictures, I can sure that you will impress by its plenty of windows. The house is perforated by 52 windows set in a checkerboard pattern, clad with a powder-coated-aluminum skin. Next, you will find the most amazing things about this project. The bedroom hangs in a sliding drawer that can be opened over the street for alfresco sleeping, really amazing design.   [via]

What an amazing design. Totally have no need to switch on the lights in the day. But with so many windows, security would have to be tight as burglars would be able to get in and out from many locations.

Yes, before this I have never saw a house with so many windows.

Alson, thanks for your comment, and I believe that you will see more amazing designs here in the future.
