The Reading Nest Created From 10,000 Reclaimed Boards

Inspired by mythical creatures and ancient symbols of knowledge, artist Mark Reigelman worked with a team of people over 10 days to construct the reading nest which is built from 10,000 discarded wood boards. The installation is 13 feet (3.35 meters) high and 36 feet (11 meters) wide. It is comprised of 10,000 boards(from various Cleveland industrial and manufacturing sites), held in place by wooden armature, steel cables and around 40,000 nails.
