A Chinese company Shenzhen Huashi Future Car-Parking Equipment has came up wiht this Straddling Bus concept that will utilize the road space that is apparent between the street’s bridges and regular vehicles. Powered by electricity and solar energy, the bus can speed up to 60 km/h carrying 1200-1400 passengers at a time without blocking other vehicles’way. Also it costs about 500 million yuan to build the bus and a 40-km-long path for it, only 10% of building equivalent subway. Users can choose the units that are best suited for their home. “Multiple units and surfaces automatically work together through wireless smart networking. The appliance draws power wirelessly through ‘powermat’ technology applied to the wall, which is supplemented through solar energy as required.”

The Wunda Weeder by Australian inventors Brendan Corry and Peter Sargent, is a self propelled, electric powered machine thanks to a set of solar cells on the roof which doubles as a shade and rain guard. This creation makes planting, thining, weeding, transplanting or harvesting more comfortable as taking a nap. The Wunda Weeder has gardeners laying on their stomach on a sort of bed with an adjustable headrest suspended just above the crops they’re tending.   via 1  2
