Kuroshio Sea Aquarium Tank

Kuroshio Sea is the second largest aquarium tank in the world. It holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world’s second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.  -Via

This amazing ice hotel is located in Kemi, northern Finland. In the Snow Hotel there are rooms for singles, couples as well as bigger groups. There are 18 rooms for doubles / singles and two group-rooms with five beds as well as a Honeymoon Suite. The whole Snow Hotel and the rooms inside are made of snow. The restaurant looks like a medicine cabinet, while you are treated as a patient and taken good care by the long-legged waitresses in nurses uniforms. The food is served in flasks and operating-room’s dishes, and customers can be tied up in straight jackets.

This Swiss-built prefab is actually an art installation – with guests as part of the exhibit. Its designers insisted those taking part in the project can expect a “bounteous dimensioned room”.

Worlds First Sandcastle Hotel Located in UK

This world’s first sand castle hotel was created by British sculptor Mark Anderson, and is located in the seaside town of dorset, UK. The hotel was constructed from approximately 1000 tonnes of sand, built over 15sqm reaching a height of 4m. The open air family room sets you back a mere $21 a night to sleep on a sand bed, listen to the tide and bask in the summer.
