Soundwave Wedding Ring
I love this pretty neat idea for a wedding ring by Japanese artist Sakura Koshimizu, who takes the waveform of a lover’s romantic whisper and fires it out of laser to beetched in silver. Cool!
Waveform Series is the laser-cut shapes of the waveform of the sound in sound editingsoftware environment. I used some human sound such as yawn, atchoum, giggle, wow, andthe sound of church bell.

Although a great idea, shouldn’t a wedding ring be a complete ring, it is a symbol of the continuity of marriage.
And also would create a loop, to continue the sound metaphor

I think it is great, wedding rings come in all sizes and shapes. It is the commitment that counts.

wow! this is great. I’m going to talk to my fiance about getting these.
I wonder if we can have them made for our whispers to each other.

why do this when after twenty years you will cringe when you hear her talk(nag).

I think the photo is the bracelet that’s also offered. My friend JoAnne was able to get a price list & it was mentioned the bracelet was being shown as one of the rings.
Art is never cheap, nor should it be… so be prepared to pay around a grand for the smallest ring (not made from gold) to over 3 or 4 grand for gold or platinum. Well worth it & yes you can whisper or put any saying on it. Write & ask!

There are some wonderfully unique ideas out there for wedding rings these days. I saw a set of rings that fit together like a puzzle.
@phr: not every woman nags. If you behave like an adult, speak like an adult, and treat others like adults, amazingly you will get an adult-like response.
