The Ripple Faucet

It must be a great design for water ball ripples. Designer Smith Newnam takes inspiration from surface ripples. Just as showed in these pictures, you can control the faucet through a metal ball on top of the frosted ripple surface. Moving the ball in or out from the center controls water pressure. Moving it around controls temperature. Because of the flash heating,  you don’t worry about scalding yourself. The water in the hot water channel isn’t hot until it’s ready to be mixed via flash heating system. A smart idea is that the surface glows red or blue to denote how hot or cold it is. Although this high-tech faucet Water Ball Ripple is only a concept now, I believe it will be available soon.  [Via Yankodesign]
