Located in the Catalan city of Barcelona, EXPECTATION created by renown culture jammer Jorge Rodriguez-Gerada is a 2.5 acre sand painting of Barack Obama. The piece is made of 650 tons of sand and gravel and was revealed on the eve of Election Day. From these pictures, we can see artist’s great work. They used a large-scale vector graphic, a GPS topography system and other technique of sand painting, and showed us this amazing piece of art.
