Instead of fire or sparks or lighter fluid, the Looftlighter produces a wave of hot air at 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit to light things up. It can apparently get a fire going in as little as 15 seconds with the right combustibles. Unfortunately, the Lofftlighter has to be plugged in, which means it is useless for camping or the outdoors. -Via
