The giant egg billboard starts hatching in the wee hours of morning. By breakfast time, the egg has already hatched, and you can see “Fresh Eggs Daily” written on the egg’s yolk. Brilliant! [via]

A house with an amazing private library in Costa Rica, by Gianni Botsford. I think the highlight of this building is the bookshelves between the structure.

Created by DeviantArt’s FilthyLuker and his collaborator Pedro Estrellas, this Octo-pied Building located somewhere in France, looks like a giant green octopus escaping from the house. [via]

Toyota is one of the world’s most successful and well-known car manufactures. Most of people all know that toyota produce mass cars, but do you know they also made homes? Toyota homes are mass produced like Toyota cars. About 85 percent of the work on the metal-frame cubicles is finished at the plant. Most Toyota homes are made from six or more of these large cubicles, which are assembled — like Legos — on the building site. From its start on the factory floor to its final completion on site, a Toyota home can be built in 45 days, less than half the time it takes for contractors to build a typical wooden-frame home.

I’ve never thought that a rubber tire can be so comfortable until I’ve saw this creative Tired Chair design from designer Carl Menary. I’m also a big fan of eco-friendly designs and concepts, so I love this green creation really. This “Re-Tyre” concept is a step in the right direction to help find new ways to repurpose those disposed tires. Carl has ingeniously remolded tires into seating that is perfect for outdoor areas like parks, patios and other public spaces.
