Apartments On The Coast

Located in the industrial district of town Izola, on the Slovenian coast, OFIS projeted the Apartments On The Coast, a building of very low budget for young families and couples. The loggias covered with semi-transparent angled textile shadings ensure the building nice views towards the sea, at the same time as sun-roof and curtain. “The changing rhythm of balconies creates dynamic elevations and offers privacy to the neighbouring owners.”

Seifert Stoeckmann’s Project - the Living Room

The Living Room project designed by Seifert Stoeckmann is located in the historic district of Gelnhause, Germany. After you’ll see the pictures, I can sure that you will impress by its plenty of windows. The house is perforated by 52 windows set in a checkerboard pattern, clad with a powder-coated-aluminum skin. Next, you will find the most amazing things about this project. The bedroom hangs in a sliding drawer that can be opened over the street for alfresco sleeping, really amazing design.   [via]
